Shown on Ordnance Survey second edition. Also known as The Cook's Hotel. In 1900 it had three front entrances, a divided long bar and two sitting rooms. There was a covered quoits ground in the rear and the property also accommodated the dining rooms of Ormston's Cattle Market Café. Owners North Eastern Breweries. Closed 1908.
