Shown on Ordnance Survey second edition. George Thomas Moat was licensee of the Oak Leaf Inn and its brewery from the mid 1840s. Elizabeth Moat took over around 1871. The brewery had a new steam engine and two dray horses. Mrs Moat brewed until 1877. It was demolished in 1913 in order to extend Fenwicks (HER 9917).
