Description
In 1897 an iron church was planned by All Saints, Monkwearmouth. The architect was John H. Nicholls of 38 Fawcett Street, Sunderland. The proposed church had a porch, a nave with a railed-off sanctuary, a back porch and toilets. The church was heated by two stoves. The last service was on 26 July 1936.
