Description
Shown on Ordnance Survey first edition of 1857. Three rows of terraced cottages to the north of Philadelphia Works and Newbottle Colliery Dorothea Pit. By 1896 Fenton Terrace, Lanton Street, Railway Terrace and Langley Street had been added along with a chapel. These later rows still stand.
