Description
This Norwegian vessel drove ashore on Herd Sand in ENE force 7 wind conditions, with fog and rain, for want of sufficient seamen to make sail and work the ship. She went ashore at 8pm on a quarter ebb, £1,200 being the estimated loss on the vessel, which was uninsured, as was her cargo, valued at £10,000.
