Description
Belgian brig which accepted the services of a tug whilst proceeding into Shields, but the tug kept too much to leeward, the tow line parted and the vessel drifted onto the sand at 5pm in wind conditions NE force 8, October 1859. Estimated financial loss on the vessel was 1,700 [sterling].
