Description
Downs Stables shown on a plan of Hetton Coal Co. Estates, 1825 as an L shaped building and smaller separate structure. Stable may have been incorporated into a square range of of buildings shown on the 1861 First Edition and subsequent maps. Now demolished but a square outline remains in modern housing.
