Description
Lampblack Works, by the Wear at the northern end of Lambton Staithes just upstream of Painshaw Staiths. It was served by sidings linked to the Londonderry Railway. The works may have had a relatively short life, which was certainly restricted to the 19th century. They are not shown on the late 19th century 2nd edition ordnance survey plan.
