Description
A Wagonway, marked as Old on the 1st edition OS mapping, so was out of use by 1857. A deposit that represents the bedding layer of the waggonway was excavated in 2011 by North Pennines Archaeology as part of a wider archaeological evaluation. No other tracks or features were observed.
