Description:
Area with three footbridges. This lower bridge is single span. This was for public use as opposed to the higher slightly grander bridge (HER 5690) which was for Armstrong's personal use. A cobbled road (HER 5694) led down from Jesmond Dene Road to this bridge. Replaced a ford (HER 5693). LISTED GRADE 2
