Description
Miket records that, in 1963, 130 flint flakes were found on this stretch of coast, "mostly broken fragments but includes eighteen struck flakes, and possibly one core/hammerstone". Wymer, under the heading Marsden and Trow Rocks, reports that in Sunderland Museum, there were 4 cores and 32 blades/flakes from the W. Dodds collection. It is not clear whether these two groups, in spite of different quantities and descriptions, are really one.
