Description:
Brandling Park is a place that is enjoyed by all members of the community in this area of Jesmond. The park is bounded by capped sandstone walls, within which are a bowling green, landscaped grass areas, mature trees, flowerbeds, shrubs and a rockery. A curving path meanders through the space which is bordered on one side by the Great North Road and on the other by high quality terraced housing. First shown on OS second edition of 1890.
