              Brewery shown on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey Plan, 1896. Purchased by Thomas Lamb & Sons 1861 from the late Joseph Love of Durham (not identifiable on the First Edition Plan). Gone by 1939.  Lamb & Sons were in business until 1954 when they were bought by Vaux.
