Description:
Particular Baptist. Substantial gable-fronted chapel with galleries, attached to medieval Gunner Tower (HER 1523). Built in 1853. The congregation was from Tuthill Stairs. In 1884 the congregation moved to Marlborough Crescent and then Westgate Road. The church cost £4139 and seated 850.
