Shown on Ordnance Survey second edition. Bought by W B Reid in 1920 for £7100 and subsequently became a Scottish & Newcastle Breweries property. In 1990 it was acquired by Legendary Yorkshire Heros and became the Independent, before transferring four years later to Century Inns.
