Description
Shown on Ordnance Survey second edition. Described at the beginning of the 20th century as having a 'well appointed commodious bar, bar parlour, two splendid cellars and one large tea or sitting room'. It was said to be doing 'lucrative business' being close to the cooperative store's new building and a large tobacco factory'. The pub lost its licence in 1921.
