Jarrow, Quay Corner Avenue, cottages

Quay Corner Avenue is a private road with metal gates at its northern end. The entrance is set past a set of timber boarded stables (NZ 3378 6555) to a well maintained area with a tarmac road, low stone walls, well kept gardens. There is a pair of late 19th century cottages (NZ 3380 6550) and a post 1938 house (NZ 3382 6545). Some building work has been carried out in the area between the cottages and the house to the south, with a derelict area containing building materials, an abandoned car and other vehicles. The western boundary is a concrete wall separating the Avenue from Bede's World.
