Description
1993 by Matthew Jarratt. Three well-headed shaped red brick walls 1.56m high and 3.6m wide with yellow fire clay panels set into them carved with a crane, house, ship, bridges and a lighthouse, with 'VEDRA' above in raised letters. There is also a boat-shaped planter in red brick, surrounded by coloured mosaics. Set in a wildlife garden to the rear of the community centre. Commissioned by City of Sunderland.
