Description
1996 by Colin Wilbourn and Karl Fisher. 26 relief panels in yellow fire clay set into a red brick retaining wall. Each group of 4 panels illustrates a story on a metal plate between them. Each panel is within a window frame with a latch. The stories include a magic tree written by Fulwell Junior School, a battle between two witches by Dame Dorothy Primary School, local memories by Monkwearmouth Local History Society and a flying fish by St. Benet's RC School. The stories were written with the help of writer Chaz Brenchley.
