1782 wreck of British collier which stranded south of Tynemouth en route from Bridlington to Newcastle-upon-Tyne in ballast; a wooden sailing vessel. Master: Brown. Part of a group of 25 light colliers caught in gail which drove on shore the PEGGY (HER 14511), GOOD INTENT, and MARMADUKE (HER 14510).
