Description
By the late 19th century Dent's Hole was 'desolate and sad' with'everything about it hastening to decay'. The Ship closed in 1885. It had been a busy industrial area with Dent's Hole Quarry, St. Peter's Works and Dock. Greenland whaling ships docked here.
