Description
The North Eastern Railway, North Dock Branch, from the North Eastern Railway, Sunderland Branch (HER ref. 2289) to the North Dock (HER ref. 2717) and Creosoting Works (HER ref. 2713). This line was opened in 1837 by the Wearmouth Dock Company. The railway can be followed over most of its course from Seaburn Station to North Dock.
