Groat Market, Fletcher’s Entry Drawing by Sheridan Holmes 1882. Side view of a two storied, timber framed building with a jetty beneath the first floor. First floor has two projecting windows, beneath each are different elaborate sills. Right hand sill has two corbels supporting a sill. Drawn in detail. Holmes notes that they are “preserved in the Crown and Thistle Inn and dated 1609”.
