Description:
Town Moor boundary stone. Late C18. Sandstone. Round-topped stone about one metre high; arms of Newcastle in low relief on north face. After a dispute in 1770 between the Freemen and the Corporation of Newcastle the boundary was marked. LISTED GRADE 2
