Description
The foundation stone was laid on 19th March 1872.
Architect: Frederick Richard Wilson (1850-1885) of Newcastle and London.
A new organ was introduced on 19th November 1878, built by Messrs Harrisons of Durham at a cost of £250. Extended in 1907
