Description
Opposite the town hall, statue by Colin M. Davidson, 1962. One of the earliest artworks connected to a town centre revitalisation scheme. Concrete and fibreglass figures with a bronze coating in a stone and concrete pedestal. The 'Vikings' reflects the historic links between Jarrow and the Scandinavian countries.
