Description
The Jewish section of Elswick Cemetery is of high cultural value and history. The section is separate from the rest of St. John’s Cemetery and dates back to around the 1830s. It includes a mixture of Jewish gravestones with Hebrew inscriptions in sandstone and polished granite. LOCAL LIST
