Description
1996 by Matthew Jarratt and Neil Canavan. Two cut steel sculptures and a steel bench next to a cycle track crossing Hebburn Riverside Park. Further south is another steel marker and a carved brick sculpture. The steel markers are painted yellow and red, and comprise of a compass surrounded by a cut-out bird, diver's helmet, crane and lighthouse. The bench is painted green and has cut-out animals and plants set into its back. Commissioned by Tyne and Wear Development Corporation.
