Description
1987-8 by Maggie Howarth. Sculptors were Richard Broderick and Graham Robinson for Freeform Arts Trust. A large mosaic work in stone, concrete and ceramics 3m long and 10m wide set into the bank below Tyne Street to the east of the light house. Depicts sea life - two large cod plus other highly coloured fish and other creatures. The piece is best viewed from the end of Fishermen's Wharf below.
