Description
The boundary wall of the car park to Shields Road is a probable limestone field wall, topped with later sandstone coping. The fine boundary wall that returns along the northern and western boundary of the car park are the former garden walls of Cleadon Meadows, a mansion house designed by John Dobson. The walls probably pre-date the Dobson house and belong to an earlier country house.
