Roker, Roker Park Model Boat Club

Formed in 2005. The vast majority of model boat clubs date from the introduction of cheap and efficient radio control kits from the 1970s, and the wider availability of kit-form or ready-made boats. In the 1950s the North East Coast Regatta was staged at Roker Park.
