Description
Possible medieval ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks and soilmarks on historical and recent air photos. These remains are located in the fields around around Brier Dene Farm close to the burn. The remains that are immediately adjacent to the farm appear to survive as earthworks, those in the field to the east have probably been destroyed by late 20th century quarrying.
