Description
Hebburn Hall Quarry is not not shown on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey plan, so was working from after 1855. This quarry included the site of an earlier one (HER ref. 2243), which may have been reopened. Stone from here may have been used in the construction of the Hebburn Hall Ponds (HER ref. 2518), using a wagonway (HER ref. 2532) for transport.
