Description
Altar in three fragments. The lowest one was found in 1862 in the Temple of Antenociticus (HER 5266), the upper two in 1904 in house foundations c.640 metres south-east of the temple. The altar was broken either when the temple was destroyed or during stone robbing in modern times. Deposited in the Black Gate.
