Description
This building was listed Grade II in 1987 with the following description:
'Villa, now offices. Circa 1850. Flemish bond grey brick with ashlar-coped plinth; ashlar quoins and dressings; slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. 6-panelled door and fanlight in moulded surround, in gabled Gothic doorcase, in second bay; sash window over. Projecting square left bay has tripartite ground floor sashes; all other windows single sashes in architraves. Aprons to ground floor windows; tile panels with guilloche and rose pattern below first-floor windows. First floor band; bracketed cornice. Low-pitched hipped roof has corniced ashlar and brick chimneys.'
Named 'Leazes Villa' on OS second edition.
