Description

These are large semi-detached homes with original features and character, built c1895-1900. They were built and owned by Mr. Lewis Lundi of Rock Villa, Jesmond, who also owned the houses on The Grove and the first five homes on west side of East Ave. When Mr. Lundi died in November 1905, the property ownership passed to his son, Mr. Frederico George Lundi, who lived at 5 West Avenue. This property was called Craigmont and is now the site of Craigmont Court Apartments. LOCAL LIST
