Description

Oldest and largest villa in Preston. In 1809 the land was sold to John Plummer who built the house. 2 storeys with 3 bays. Roof with overhanging eaves. A pillared entrance has been added, and around 1863 an Italianate tower with stone balustrade. There was supposed to have been a private Turkish Bath in the house in 1860. LOCAL LIST
