Description
War memorial. Unveiled in July 1922 by R.S. Barret, agent to Seaton Burn Coal Co. A tall red and grey granite monument to both World Wars. Rectangular in shape, with columns at each corner. On the top is a domed column with a cross at the top. Stands on a plinth of three steps within a railed enclosure. Made by Emley and Sons of Newcastle. LOCAL LIST
