Out of character with the rest of the Conservation Area. Built in smooth brown brick with low pitch roofs in concrete tiles, small brown windows, plastic rainwater goods, concrete pavements. The development was built in the grounds of the demolished Westoe House. A series of blank side elevations. The private courtyard elevation and the gardens are very attractive and add to the Conservation Area's character.

Built in red-brown brick with a huge Baroque oeil-de-boeuf window , Arts & Crafts style chimneys, shaped gables, original timber Victorian conservatory and lead covered ogee-roofed oriel window. It retains its timber sash windows but has modern Velux-style rooflights. "One of the conservation area's most intiguing secrets" {1}.

Handsome Queen Anne Revival style detached house. The long garden has been sliced away by the college resulting in a truncated setting for its grand south elevation. Built at the turn of C20. Green Westmorland slate roof with enormous slates at the eaves, dentilled eaves and an attractive doorway with curved hood. Converted to flats. It has uPVC door and windows, the brick has been cleaned, the stone dressings painted, the front boundary wall has been rebuilt in new materials with modern inaccurate railings. It has lost all greenery to the street elevation.
