Aircraft obstructions of the Second World War mapped from wartime air photographs. They surround an anti aircraft battery (HER 5501). They comprise a ditch with lines of resulting spoil heaps to either side and were arranged at right angles extending over an area of 750m north to south and 490m east to west. To the south-west (in the area of a former golf course) the obstructions were formed only by discontinous banks.
