WW2 headstone formed of three upright panels, the centre one having a curved top, a carved anchor and a dedication. The outer panels show the names of the dead. Central panel reads: "H.M.S. KELLY/ HERE LIE/ THE MORTAL REMAINS/ OF TWENTY MEMBERS/ OF THE SHIP'S COMPANY/ KILLED IN ACTION". "IN RESPECTFUL MEMORY OF/ LORD LOUIS/ MOUNTBATTEN/ LATER ADMIRAL OF THE FLEET/ THE EARL MOUNTBATTEN/ OF BURMA/ CAPTAIN OF H.M.S. KELLY/ WHO WAS KILLED AT MULLACHMORE/ CO. SLIGO, MONDAY 27TH AUGUST 1973". The second plaque reads: "H.M.S. KELLY/ IN MEMORY OF THE 27 MEN/ KILLED IN ACTION WITH "E" BOATS OFF/ THE GERMAN MINEFIELD IN THE NORTH SEA/ IN THE NIGHT OF 9TH MAY 1940/ THIS MEMORIAL WAS ERECTED BY/ OFFICERS AND MEN OF THE SHIP AND/ WORKMEN OF HEBBURN SHIPBUILDING YARD". The third plaque reads "ALSO NINE OFFICERS AND 121 MEN/ WHO LOST THEIR LIVES WHEN H.M.S KELLY WAS SUNK/ IN THE BATTLE OF CRETE/ 23RD MAY 1941". H.M.S. Kelly was one of four destroyers sunk by bombs during the Battle of Crete in 1941.

The garden of remembrance lies north-west of the church and includes lawns, shrubberies and flagged paths. It cost £365, raised by public subscription. The designers were A.K. Tasker and Austin Child, Chartered Architects from Newcastle. After the Rembrance Service, members of the congregation used to place little crosses with poppies in the garden, but this practice was stopped due to vandalism.

Opened 15th August 1953. This was an old army hut whaich was extended to create a community hall with playing fields. Inside is a brass plaque with white lettering on an oak pattress. The receation ground was sold to the YMCA for development in 1925 when Smith's Dock Co. moved to North Shields. Wooden footbridge 12 feet wide and 22 feet long with a dedication carved into the parapet and the name "PRIMOSOLE BRIDGE" on the coping on a low stone wall alongside. "DEDICATED TO THE OFFICERS AND MEN OF THE DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY WHO MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE 2ND BATTALION DLI BURMA APRIL 1944 KOHIMA EPITAPH WHEN YOU GO HOME TELL THEM OF US AND SAY YOUR TOMORROW WE GAVE OUR TODAY 6TH, 8TH AND 9TH BATTALIONS DLI PRIMOSOLE BRIDGE SICILY JULY 1943 THEY SHALL GROW NOT OLD AS WE THAT ARE LEFT GROW OLD AGE SHALL NOT WEARY THEM NOR THE YEARS CONDEMN AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING WE WILL REMEMBER THEM". A red marble plaque 17 inches x 36 inches with a trinagular pediment was set up: "THESE PREMISES AND GROUNDS PURCHASED BY THE WEST MOOR AND FOREST HALL BROTHERHOOD WITH THE AID OF PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF ALL FROM THE LONG BENTON AREA WHO SERVED IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918". The building burnt down in 1980 and a new community centre was built in 1986.

There was a drinking cup and basin on one side and a horse trough and dog trough on the other. Gas lamps to the west side. It was erected as a memorial for the dead in the South African War 1899-1902. The sculptor was Mr H. Miller, district surveyor. It is shown on the Ordnance Survey as a pump and trough. The fountain vanished around 1950 when Victoria Square was developed.
