The trenches are zig-zag in pattern measuring up to 20m long and 0.7m wide. Two other trenches are visible on the southern part of Hunter's Moor - possibly practice trenches.

About half the size of similar blcoks used along Grandstand Road. The blocks probably lie half buried under the verge of the modern road.
