Description
Shown on Ordnance Survey first edition of 1858. The first edition plan shows tracks leading to the T-shaped farm from the south and north-west, various separate fields and an outbuilding. A building is depicted on the same site on the estate map of 1714 giving a potential 17th or early 18th century date for the farmstead. Trade directory evidence suggests the farm was out of use between 1894-5 and was occupied by Joseph Botcherby from at least 1853.
