1987 by Basil Beattie. An abstract mural in vitreous enamel. Comprises of drawn lines and painted shapes. Commissioned by Nexus.

Sandfield is an attractive unspoilt Italianate style house in an elevated position. It is said to have been built by the owner of the local colliery.

1985 by Stephen McNulty. A vitreous enamel panel above the escalators linking the Metro to the railway station. Wakes Week was a traditional annual holiday in the north of England. The work comprises of thick coloured angular lines over fine white horizontal lines. Commissioned by Nexus.

2002 by Daniel Reed. Galvanised steel wire frame horses apparently emerging from the wall. The building is the riding arene for Stepney Bank Stables. Commissioned by the Ouseburn Trust.

By Bridget Jones, David Edwick and Tim Kendall. A circle of seats and stone blocks telling story fragments by Chris Bostock and Malcolm Green, storytellers based at the Cumberland Arms. Sword dancers and fiddle players also based at the pub, suggested the motifs which were carved onto the stone blocks. Flowers are carved into the seats and there is a standing stone inscribed 'The Grassy Hill'. Commissioned by the Ouseburn Art Project.

2002 by Lewis Robinson. A series of steel and glass waymarkers through the Ouseburn Valley drawing on local history for inspiration. They are interconnected by a trail of bottles. Commissioned by The Ouseburn Partnership.

1999 by Sue Woolhouse and Jim Roberts. Two steel panels, interlinked with a forged metal fish with coloured glass. The artwork represents the coming together of the Ouseburn and the Tyne. Commissioned by Art on the Riverside.

1999 by Helen Laws and Jane Gower. A perspex sculpture on the gable end of the building. Based on the idea of a sundial and incorporating images of navigational instruments. Commissioned by Art on the Riverside.

Next to Trinity Gardens, a big development by Waring and Netts 2005. Landscaping by Southern Green 2008. A central low amphitheatre with pale granite steps holds this scultpure, 2004 by Peter Randall-Page. A 40 ton granite glacial boulder carved with a matrix of 630 hexagons and 12 pentagons. The work is sited within concentric circles surrounded by a thin film of water representing the Pandon Burn. Commissioned by Silverlink Properties.
